The Coalition for Kids Fund was established in 2020 to support programs that strengthen protective factors in families and our community and increase health outcomes for children in their earliest years of life. Each year, local community-based organizations serving young children (ages birth through 5) in Josephine County are eligible to submit grant applications to be reviewed by the C4K Fund Advisory Committee.
This June, $106,000 was awarded to five grantees, listed below.

Siskiyou Community Health Center | $33,000.00 | Project Baby Check – a free and voluntary home visiting program that focuses on healthy child development, social-emotional agility, improved health outcomes for families, increased child readiness to enter school, and prevention of child maltreatment |
The Family Connection – Southern Oregon Child Family Council | $20,000.00 | Develop parenting programs and workshops for families facing barriers to services, affected by behavioral health issues, and/or experiencing economic fragility |
