She graduated with a BA from The Evergreen State College and has walked several career paths including many years as a rare bead collector and jewelry artisan, and fifteen years in the garment manufacturing and textile design business. She owned a textile design studio based in Seattle before she and her husband, Kevin Marr, purchased the Motel Del Rogue in 2000 and moved to Grants Pass. Their daughter, Sylvia attended Three Rivers Schools and graduated from Willamette University.

Our guiding principle is to build capacity and leadership in our region. Each year, the Southern Oregon Latino Scholarship Fund (SOLSF), with the help of generous community sponsors, awards multiple college scholarships to students of Latino heritage.
- [Coalition for Kids Fund](https://redwoodforeducation.org/grants/coalition-for-kids-fund/): The Coalition for Kids Fund provides the opportunity for local community-based organizations serving young children in Josephine County—ages birth through 5—to apply for grant funding each Spring. Grant applications will be reviewed by the CFK Fund Advisory Committee and distributed for program use each July. Please review the Grant Guidelines for information about allowable uses of grant funding. A total of $135,000 was distributed in the 2025 grant cycle.

Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients' college or university, or educational institution for payment of tuition, fees, or housing. Award may also be used for books and needed school supplies upon presentation of receipts to RFE for reimbursement. Students must be enrolled full-time. Renewal: Students are eligible for renewal if a minimum 2.5 GPA is maintained. Include an unofficial transcript for academic year just completed. Also, provide college registration documentation for the new academic year with your renewal request.  About this Scholarship: Earl was a member of the Grants Pass High School Class of 1946. He was inducted into the Grants Pass High School Hall of Fame on July 13, 1996.

He was the GPHS Caveman head baseball coach for over 20 years and assisted with both the football and basketball teams while also serving as Physical Education and Health teacher.

Reyburn Memorial Scholarship was established in 2020 by Katherine Abdun-Nur. "Mr. Lee Reyburn saw potential in me when I was a young woman with very limited resources. He generously funded my nursing school tuition, giving me the ability to participate in meaningful work and support my children. My nursing career has spanned the critical care and emergency departments; I have served in medical missions to impoverished countries and worked in the maternal-child/lactation field. It is a privilege to assist others along the way."

This scholarship has given me much needed financial support over my 4 years and a chance to focus on school without having to deal with the worries of financial struggle.
