- Award: Variable
- Eligibility: Graduating seniors from GPHS, HVHS, IVHS, or NVHS planning to pursue a trade
- Selection Criteria: Applicant must be planning to pursue a trade.
- Use of Funds: Scholarship funds are eligible to be used to pursue a degree, certification or licensure in a trade field. A trade is any occupation typically requiring specialized skills learned through advanced training, rather than a 4-year college or university. Common types of career preparation for trade jobs include vocational training at a trade school, apprenticeship or on-the-job training program. Sometimes this may include 2-year degree programs at a community college, though typically the degree is not a requirement for the certification or licensure in the specific trade field. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ post-secondary education program. Scholarship funds may also be used to reimburse students for required books and school supplies with advanced approval.
