341. Geoff Carmichael Memorial Scholarship – Additional Letter of Recommendation Required
- Award: Variable
- Eligibility: Graduating senior from Grants Pass High School
- GPA: 2.5 and above
- Selection Criteria: Financial need will be a consideration. Additionally, the recipient will have been a participant in high school athletics. Character, attitude, courage, enthusiasm, and respect for others are more important than academic accomplishments.
- Additional Requirement: A recommendation from a coach is required.
- Use of Funds: May be used at any accredited two- or four-year colleges, trade or technical schools, or for training in a federally accredited or state licensed or approved apprenticeship program. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ post-secondary education program. Scholarship funds may also be used to reimburse students for required books and school supplies with advanced approval.
- About the Scholarship: Geoff Carmichael was a student at GPHS and excelled in athletics. Geoff lived life to its utmost and is exuberantly remembered by family and friends who established this memorial scholarship to honor his memory.
