496. Mr. Lemons Hope Scholarship – Additional Letter of Recommendation Required

- Eligibility: Graduating Senior from GPHS that attended North Middle School
- GPA: 2.0-3.4
- Selection Criteria: Preference given to a person who has financial need, has demonstrated improvement as a student, is resilient, is clearly able to communicate vocational and/or educational goals, and has the potential to be successful. Extra consideration given to students with a desire to explore a field of technology.
- Additional Requirement: An additional letter of recommendation from a North Middle School Staff Member required.
- Use of Funds: May be used at any accredited two- or four-year colleges. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ post-secondary education program. Scholarship funds may also be used to reimburse students for required books and school supplies with advanced approval.
- About this Scholarship: This scholarship is established to honor the memory of Mr. Kelly Lemons, a teacher and coach at North Middle School for 31 years.
