337. Dale Boothe Memorial Scholarship
- Award: Variable
- GPA: 3.5 and above in applicant’s senior year
- Selection Criteria: Must have financial need.
- Use of Funds: May be used at any accredited two- or four-year colleges. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ post-secondary education program. Scholarship funds may also be used to reimburse students for required books and school supplies with advanced approval.
- Renewal: Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in college studies. The recipient must request the scholarship each year and provide a copy of their unofficial academic transcript to renew the scholarship. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by their institution to remain eligible for scholarship renewal.
- About the Scholarship: The Dale Boothe Trust donated $883,000 to the Foundation in 2011 for renewable scholarships to college-bound seniors at Grants Pass High School. The first awards were made in 2012 and are ongoing.
