- About this Scholarship: Amber established this scholarship to help students get exposed to different career paths that are out there and encourage going down a path in STEM. She never went to college initially and, as a result, had to metaphorically kick doors down to prove that she could do a job or get that promotion. Eventually, she went to college as an adult and went into a STEM field. Being in a STEM field has changed her life. She no longer has to kick the door down and instead can walk right through. Amber wants to promote the doors that can be opened to you by going down such a rewarding and lucrative career path and helping others get exposed to things she had no clue about when she was first graduating high school.
