466. Illinois Valley Garden Club Scholarship
- Award: $500
- Eligibility: Graduating senior from Illinois Valley High School
- Selection Criteria: Preference for students interested in horticulture. If no applicants meet the horticulture requirement, an award will be given to another deserving student. Academics, participation in co-curricular activities, and community service are considered.
- Use of Funds: May be used at any accredited two- or four-year colleges, trade or technical schools, or for training in a federally accredited or state licensed or approved apprenticeship program. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ post-secondary education program. Scholarship funds may also be used to reimburse students for required books and school supplies with advanced approval.
