526. Millette Memorial Scholarship
- Award: Two $1,000 awards
- Eligibility: Graduating senior from Hidden Valley High School
- GPA: 2.4 and above
- Selection Criteria: Selection based on demonstrated leadership and service to the community, interest in the medical field, and financial need. Additional consideration for students that have faced personal adversity and have shown themselves to be resilient.
- Use of Funds: May be used at any accredited two- or four-year colleges, trade or technical schools, or for training in a federally accredited or state licensed or approved apprenticeship program. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ post-secondary education program. Scholarship funds may also be used to reimburse students for required books and school supplies with advanced approval.
- About this Scholarship: Ray Millette was a 1986 graduate of Hidden Valley High School, as were his sons Tyler and Kyle, his brother Chris and his wife, Carolyn. This scholarship is a way for all to continue the positive energy Ray gave to all of us, to Hidden Valley specifically and the community as a whole.
