Project Youth+ Scholarship: Grades 6th-11th

Project Youth+ Scholarship: Grades 6th -11th is open to students from Josephine, Jackson, and Douglas Counties that participate in Project Youth+ Programs. This scholarship provides opportunities for students to earn scholarship funds, and begin developing their skills to apply for scholarships in the future.

Application Open: October 15th, 2024
Application Closed: November 22nd, 2024 5:00 pm PST

You will be asked for the following when you apply:

1. Basic Demographic Information
2. List of Activities (school, work, volunteer) you have participated in with dates and average hours
3. Contact information for 1 letter of recommendation (name and email address)
4. High School students select 3 of the 4 essay prompts to answer, Middle School students select 1 of 3 options (1,3,4) (200 words each)
   1. Describe a personal accomplishment, impactful change or experience that has occurred in your life.  What skills and strengths were needed to respond and what did you learn about yourself?
   2. Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is very meaningful to them. Please share your story.
   3. What are your specific educational plans and career goals and why? What inspires you to achieve them?
   4. What are you known for among people who know you well? What would you like to be known for and will college help you achieve that?
