Project Youth+ Scholarship: Grades 6th-11th

Project Youth+ Scholarship: Grades 6th -11th is open to students from Josephine, Jackson, and Douglas Counties that participate in Project Youth+ Programs. This scholarship provides opportunities for students to earn scholarship funds, and begin developing their skills to apply for scholarships in the future.

Application Open: October 13th, 2025
Application Closed: December 12th, 2025 5:00 pm PST

You will be asked for the following when you apply:

1. Basic Demographic Information
2. List of Activities (school, work, volunteer) you have participated in with dates and average hours
3. Contact information for 1 letter of recommendation – HS students only (name and email address)
4. High School students select 3 of the 4 essay prompts to answer. (200 words each)
   1. What’s something new you’ve tried recently—big or small—what did you learn about yourself?
   2. How have you made a difference for others at school, at home, or in your community? Share a moment you’re most proud of.
   3. Share a time you worked really hard for something. What did you gain from this experience?
   4. Describe a time you faced a challenge, failure, or setback. How did you bounce back, and what lessons did you carry forward?
5. Middle School students select 1 of 3 essay prompts to answer. (200 words each)
   1. What’s something new you’ve tried recently—big or small—what did you learn about yourself?
   2. How have you made a difference for others at school, at home, or in your community? Share a moment you’re most proud of.
   3. Share a time you worked really hard for something. What did you gain from this experience?
