Annabella is a 2021 graduate from Illinois Valley High School who graduated from OSU in May 2025 with plans to release a fully produced album in the future. She chose her course of study to give her the opportunity to develop as a well-rounded musician and communicator, as well as have the resources to do undergraduate hands-on research that will prepare her for her career.

Annabella was inspired to pursue a career in music by her father. “He is the reason I became a musician and had my very first gig opportunities. He helped me to realize my ever-expanding passion for performance and songwriting. Both of my parents have always showed me their upmost support at any career decision I have made throughout my lifetime, as well as my grandparents.”

Annabella encourages other students to “never be afraid to go above and beyond- there are always more opportunities available than what meets the eye. Follow your passion, it was placed within you for a reason. Scholarships gave me the opportunity to pursue my biggest dreams full-fledged without a single financial obstacle. I will be forever grateful for every cent that was graciously given towards my education.”
